Oh, AMC....the once king of Halloween marathons has in the past few years become a mockery of itself. Endless Walking Dead marathons and the same 20 movies on heavy rotation.
I'm happy to say that this year they've done away with the Walkind Deadathons, but their movie selection hasn't gotten a whole lot better.

This year they're showing a nice variety of classic horror flicks with a special spotlight on their MONSTER OF THE MONTH, Godzilla! Big G gets all fifteen of his Showa Era flicks shown this month, even the rarely shown on television entries, Godzilla vs Megalon, Godzilla vs The Sea Monster (here titled Ebirah, Horror From the Deep, it's American moniker) and Godzilla vs Hedora (aka Godzilla vs The Smog Monster).
In addition to all this kaiju goodness, there's also a rare showing of Goke: Body Snatcher From Hell! NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

I saw Hocus Pocus once when it hit video after it's release. Wasn't a bad movie, but I don't foresee watching it again. Mrs. Doubtfire I'm sure I'll never watch again, any time of year. I don't think I even have the ability to watch normal networks at this point, but luckily I've built up a sizable archive of things on a hard drive hooked up to my TV.
